Seasonal changes of the magnitude of SSD were calculated using the best models shown in Table 2, where predicted lines of male and female body size were assigned to the Storer’s index of the magnitude of SSD (difference between the values of male and female body size divided by the mean values of male and female size, Benito and Gonzalez-Solis 2007)
